The Parkstone Bay Yachts team have thoroughly enjoyed the first week at Southampton Boat Show and are ‘buoyed’ at how our three boats, the Contest 42CS, RM890 and the Wauquiez 48 Pilot Saloon have been received!
156 boats and products have made their debut this week and despite the weakness of the pound, optimism from Boat Yards and salesmen alike is strong.
For Parkstone Bay Yachts the show has been a success so far with many boat tests and follow up appointments secured already.
The Southampton Boat Show opened on 15th September with lifestyle and fashion entrepreneur Millie Mackintosh starting the proceedings. Visitors were able to enjoy seeing the latest models from the nautical world including world debuts from the likes of Sunseeker International, Ribeye, Cockwells and Princess Yachts.
Murray Ellis, Chief Officer of Boat Shows, comments: “What a fantastic opening day we’ve had for TheYachtMarket.com Southampton Boat Show 2017. With over 500 exhibiting brands from foldaway kayaks to multi-million-pound yachts, there really is something for everyone here at this year’s Show.”
Whilst initial figures haven’t been confirmed, it is estimated that the Boat Show will have received over 100,000 visitors between the opening day and when the show closes on 24th September.
But the best news of all, is that there is still time to come and see us! We are on berth M262 with the Contest 42CS, M260 with the RM890 and berth M257 with the Wauquiez 48 Pilot Saloon.
We look forward to seeing you there!
