Our team of yacht brokers all have their own areas of speciality giving you a dedicated broker to handle the listing and sale of your boat. Our brokers are trained to the exacting standards of ABYA (Association of Brokers & Yacht Agents) and continue to be trained, keeping them up to date with the latest in industry changes from marketing to legislation! However most importantly, as you’ll see below, they all share a passion for the sea…

You can rely upon the Parkstone Bay Yachts team to make the process (whether buying or selling) as pleasurable as possible.

Jimmy Warington-Smyth

With boats in his blood and having grown up cruising in the west country from a very young age, Jimmy has always had a career of yachting in his sights. He completed a degree with honours in Yacht Manufacturing & Surveying in 2004 and has been working at Parkstone Bay since 2006. If he’s not in the office you can virtually guarantee he’ll be sailing on his Scanmar 40 (Scamper) somewhere with his wife and two young children.

Claire Dale

Claire has also grown up around boats and heads-up our Powerboat sales. She completed her ABYA course back in 2006 and she recently celebrated her 10 year work anniversary here at Parkstone Bay Yachts. Claire and her husband enjoy cruising between Poole Harbour and the Solent on their Windy Tornado 31 with their cocker spaniel Barney.

Speciality: Powerboat brokerage

Dan Hills

Looking after our new and used sailing yacht clients, Dan brings many years of experience to the team.   Dan specialises in the sales, brokerage, management and delivery of high quality and semi-custom yachts.  With many thousands of ocean and coastal sailing miles, Dan has the experience to help our clients find the right boat and choose the right equipment.

Captain the office dog is owned by Jimmy. He was born in May 2010 and put to work at just 8 weeks of age. With a lovely temperament as you’d expect from a Labrador, he is always the most popular member of the brokerage team. In fact we’re pretty sure most of our clients come in just to see Captain! He is nearly 9 years old now and a little grey under the chin, but with age comes experience and if he could talk we reckon he’d make a pretty good yacht broker.

Speciality: Client liaison, chasing tennis balls, eating
